Finca La Florida in 🇵🇪 Peru – Amazonas

About The Farm

Finca La Florida is a family-run specialty coffee project located in El Palto, Utcubamba, in the Amazonas region of Peru. Founded in 2022, the farm cultivates Arabica coffee at altitudes between 1,700 and 1,900 meters above sea level. Its 5 hectares are fully dedicated to coffee production, with an annual output of around 8,200 kg.

The farm is represented by Janine Torres García, Q Grader and commercial lead, while producer Jacoba García de la Cruz represents the second generation of coffee growers in the family. Together, they combine inherited coffee-growing knowledge with a young, quality-driven approach and a strong focus on traceability.

Finca La Florida cultivates Bourbon, Geisha/Gesha, and Pacamara varieties. The coffees are processed as washed, natural, and honey, including both traditional and anaerobic fermentations. Harvesting is carried out selectively by hand, and the coffees are available as estate lots at origin, with direct export possible. The farm has also been recognized in the Cup of Excellence Peru.
