About The Farm

English version

Don Arnulfo Café is a family-run coffee farm located in Gigante, Huila, one of Colombia’s most renowned coffee-producing regions. Situated at an altitude of 1,400 to 1,500 meters above sea level, the farm combines coffee tradition, agroecological cultivation, and the energy of a new generation of producers focused on quality.

The farm is represented by Cristian Alejandro Beltrán, a 29-year-old young coffee producer and professional accountant. Born into a traditional coffee-growing family, with both parents dedicated to coffee farming, Cristian has developed a deep understanding of the entire coffee value chain — from seed to cup.

Don Arnulfo Café cultivates Arabica coffee, mainly the Castillo and Colombia varieties, on 6 hectares dedicated to coffee production within a total farm area of 20 hectares. The farm uses partial shade management and practices selective hand-picking to ensure that only ripe cherries are harvested.

With an official cupping score of 86 points, Don Arnulfo Café offers coffees processed through washed, honey, natural, and semi-washed methods. The farm also works with traditional, extended, and anaerobic fermentation processes, allowing for diverse and expressive cup profiles.

Don Arnulfo Café mainly offers microlots and keeps its coffee at origin, with direct export available upon request. The farm represents a new generation of Colombian coffee producers: deeply rooted in family tradition, yet open to innovation, traceability, and direct connections with buyers.
